Inside this rain

Come, let me scrub your back, inside this rain.

Inside this rain,

let me hold your hands

while our feet remain static on this clayey-loam soil.

Let our minds roam to Rome,

who knows if Romeo will turn to our Mario?

Inside this rain, let us cry unto heaven,

let us sit in the flood,

let me wash my rod

who knows if this cleansing

will make a rebirth?

Perhaps when our bodies are washed,

blood would rush

and we will have nothing to lose.

Inside this rain, let us glide against each other,

body, soul and mind.

ENTHUSIASM PILL FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS

Success belong to those that believe in the beauty of their dream says Eleanor Roosevelt, but who are those that believe in their  dream? Those that believe in the beauty of their dream are those that have articulated themselves and have remain committed to  a particular profession and who have stood the test of time to keep themselves updated in the terrain of the so-called profession.

At this period of man’s existence where all of seem to have gotten it right and which is the area which demands all areas of life to be pervaded with with professionals is full of half-baked practitioners,What a dismal! I could remember a couple of weeks ago when a graduate of animal is entering a poultry pen with his shoe on.

I was not opportune to challenge the young graduate but I directed questions to myself instead, in this era where we have even employable graduates wandering the street of our ever-congested labour market without job what is the fate of these half-baked graduates?

The sine qua non to restructuring the labour market and to make Nigeria realize her dream of becoming a fully developed nation.

On a conclusive note! According to Napoleon Hill "An educated man is that man who has learned how to get what he wants without  violating the right of his fellow man".

NAAS COMMENCES CONTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CHAIRS

The executive cabinet of NAAS in fulfilling one of their election promises that welfare of all NAASites will be their concern has commenced the construction of eleven relaxation chairs at colanim farm.

The president, Com. Adeoye Afeez popularly known as Adek made this disclosure after the executive cabinet meeting at NAAS secretariat stating that his governance in NAAS must be people oriented hence the need for all agricultural students on campus to cooperate with him so that they can all be carried along as the train of development gets to their homestead.

Answering question on why the chairs are to be constructed at colanim farm alone and not coplant farm, the president said, in as much as he is trying to satisfy all NAASites, he would not waste resources, as constructing of chairs at coplant farm seems to be a waste of resources since
NAASites that are weeding their plots cannot weed and at the same time sit on the chair.

The welfare director of the association, Com. Morakinyo Tolulope said that  the executive cabinet has disbursed fund for the project and that the project will reach completion without much time wasted.

My treasurership in NAAS will be corruption free-NAAS Treasurer

Following different news of financial misappropriation that  has clustered round the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students, the newly sworn-in treasurer of the association, Com. Abiala Tosin has stated it clearly that his tenure as the treasurer of all the agricultural students would be corruption free.

Receiving the NAAS editorial board in his hostel, the 300level student of the department of animal production and health said the reason for the misappropriation of fund recorded in the previous tenure was as a result of lending the treasure of the union out to students that are not willing to refund the money.

Talking on how he would ensure there is no continuity in the misappropriation of fund, Com. Abiala Tosin said borrowing of students association money would not be allowed during this administration, in his words, Com. Abiala said ‘I am one of the signatories to the account of the association, no money could be withdrawn without my approval and if I discourage corruption, the association will to a large extent be corruption free.

NAASITES what's your take on this?

Effective Time Management

Time management has been numerously discussed by various scholars but the exigency for effective time management has not decreased but rather increase in a supersonic rate, every human is in dire need of ways to free their mind from the problem of no time or I don’t know what to do with my time, as one of the things that should be put in mind when harnessing both human and non-human resources is how to manage them as they are known to be time-bound.
